Having worked, lived, and traveled across 5 continents, I suppose you could call me a global nomad.
I started my career in Sydney, Australia, where I worked for a year on the digital team for the Australian National Basketball League. After that, I spent another year traveling through Asia and Europe until I got back to the states, where I finished my BA in Journalism at the University of Wisconsin. Go Bucky! Then it was off to Miami Ad School where I focused on Copywriting and Photography. The travel bug bit again and I packed up my bags and camera and headed to Argentina where I was a photographer with the design boutique, Furia. From there I headed north to Sao Paulo where I spent 4 years working with the greats at Ogilvy and David, Brazil. I'm now back stateside in blustery Chicago splitting time between Leo Burnett and Lapiz as an ACD Copywriter.
But it wasn't all work overseas. I zip-lined down the Great Wall of China, had a close encounter with a Bull Shark nursery, wrote and starred in a Brazilian rap commercial, and was the breakdancing koala mascot for a music festival. But those are stories best served with a cocktail...like a caipirinha (and I make a mean one).

October 23, 2015, Hurricane Patricia was set to hit in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Luckily, no major damage was done. So to show that Mexico had no hard feelings against any Patricias,
we invited all of them to come.
